S. S. Emran
Shariar held the post of Director of Ruposi Bangla Aviation Services (Canada) Inc. and Chairman of Ruposi Bangla Airlines (Bangladesh) Ltd. since their inception in 2007 and 2008, respectively. He has since stepped down from the Directorship of Ruposi Bangla Aviation Services (Canada) Inc. and taken up the role of CEO of Ruposi Bangla Airlines (Bangladesh) Ltd. Prior to Airlines and Aviation Services, Shariar founded Emran Consulting (Alberta) Ltd. in 2013. He was employed full-time as an Evaluation Engineer prior to 2013. He has an Aerospace Engineering undergraduate degree from Canada and is pursuing Master of Science in the United States.

From Aerospace to Oil & Gas, my career has taken me to places! I first ran for the Provincial Parliament in Alberta at age 27 with the Liberals. I have not looked back. Since 2014, I have taken on roles in Aviation and volunteered with you through three Ontario General Elections and three federal elections. Of Course, there is a perpetual campaign; every day- all over the world. But I urge people to vote in the upcoming by-election in Durham on March 4, 2024.
I will not bore you with everything that I have done. But I can tell you why politics—Leadership is important, especially during hard-times. I think it is fair to say our economy has not been doing very well since the start of the pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine War. I can tell you from experience that even then, we are doing better than Bangladesh and the United States where I had the pleasure of spending some time during the past two years.
The challenges for elderly are unique as they age and worry about issues such as affordability and loneliness in their retirement. The middle-aged individual is too facing record inflation and a lack of economic opportunity. Youth have the best of everything as they are coming out of adolescence and figuring out what type of life to lead. No matter what your circumstance, I want to offer you my service to help you better your situation. I will try to keep you in mind every time I make a policy decision at the Mississauga City Hall.
